Difference between 808-8a and 808-8b

As far as matching them up, will they have the same sound? What's the difference?

Both drivers usually equipped with symbiotik diaphragms and loading caps in stock form.

808-8A is the earlier style with an annular slit, machined steel phase plug.

808-8B is the later style with the Tangerine radially slit phase plug.

The later 808 body is a bit longer with a slight taper front to back.

I have 802's in both body styles, but i've never done a side by side listening comparison to see if i can hear a difference.
